- Welcome all customers and set expectations with them.
- Custom‑fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses.
- Act as a leader in optical acumen.
- Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
- Assist the team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
- Accurately and thoroughly use technology under time pressure and customer volume, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and use of appropriate tools.
- Proactively explore the root cause of issues, forward‑think, and ensure customers are satisfied and expectations are exceeded, acting in a solution‑driven manner.
- Multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities.
- Strive to achieve exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies.
- Take pride in store appearance and help keep the store clean, attractive, and organized.
- Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.
- Be resourceful and self‑motivated with a desire for continual learning, improvement, and results.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- State licensure.
- Optical dispensing experience.
- Strong customer‑service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder.
- Knowledge of current store merchandise.
- Strong basic math skills.
- Awareness of current fashion trends.
- Sales skills – ability to use and carry an iPad or tablet.
- Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators.
- Embrace new technology and change.
- Previous customer‑service and retail experience.
