Since 1985, Empire loan has grown to become New England’s leading pawnbroker with 8 stores that offer cash loans, merchandise buys and retail sales on gold & diamond jewelry, electronics, musical instruments, designer handbags and a range of other items. This job is unlike any other you may have had. Each day is different as we have no idea what may walk in the front door.

We’re looking for special individuals who enjoy working with customers to help them get the money they need, or great deals on the merchandise that we sell. The ideal candidate will be compassionate and have excellent communication skills to explain how the process works. You’ll learn how to test and appraise jewelry and research, evaluate and authenticate other items that we offer loans and purchases on.

You should be comfortable working on a computer and have an outgoing personality.

Employees are responsible for merchandise sales and operational duties such as creating visual holiday sales displays, etc. with first class customer service as the primary goal. All candidates are subject to background and credit checks, and be able to work at different locations. Fluency in Spanish is preferred. Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 9AM-6PM with work hours from 8:30AM to 6:30PM.

We are currently seeking FT and PT employees in our Stoughton store.
