Job Description
Are you a driven, relationship-focused outside sales professional who thrives on winning new business and growing your territory? Join one of the East Coast’s leading fuel distributors and take ownership of a high-potential New England market. In this role, you’ll combine strategic prospecting with account management to build lasting partnerships with gas station and convenience store operators. With uncapped commission, strong internal support, and a proven product offering, this is a high-impact opportunity for someone who is competitive, self‑motivated, and ready to grow a book of business in a fast-moving industry.
Responsibilities- Prospect and develop new B2B customers in the retail fuel and convenience store market
- Grow and manage a territory across MA, CT, RI, NH, VT, and ME
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing wholesale fuel customers
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through cold calling, referrals, and networking
- Present branded and unbranded fuel programs to prospective clients
- Execute pricing, billing coordination, and account management activities
- Stay current on fuel market trends, competitors, and brand programs
- Attend industry trade shows, events, and association meetings
- Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, credit, operations) to support customers
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- 3+ years of outside sales or B2B business development experience
- Proven track record of prospecting and closing new business
- Strong relationship‑building and account management skills
- Experience in fuel, energy, C‑store, or related industry (preferred, not required)
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and highly driven personality
- Ability to travel regularly throughout the New England territory
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
