Role Summary

Specialty Care – GI Health & Science Specialist (field-based) driving launch and growth of GI products through compliant, strategic relationships within assigned accounts.

Role Responsibilities
  • Drive customer engagement and sales performance via effective in-person interactions.
  • Build strong, compliant relationships with HCPs and office staff across assigned accounts.
  • Deliver approved promotional and disease-state messaging to support appropriate product use.
  • Use product, disease, and market knowledge to identify opportunities and prioritize accounts.
  • Support patient access by providing information on reimbursement, hubs, and co-pay resources.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to address customer needs and advance business objectives.
  • Use digital tools and insights to plan, execute, and optimize territory activities.
Basic Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree OR associate’s degree + 8+ years experience OR high school diploma + 10+ years experience.
  • Work experience (min. 3 years) in one or more: pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device sales; pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device marketing; aligned therapeutic‑specific healthcare provider experience.
  • Valid US driver’s license and compliant driving record; DUI/DWI or impaired driving citation within past 7 years disqualifies hiring.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3–5 years specialty sales (preferably GI, immunology, or inflammation)
  • Specialty reimbursement/distribution knowledge; experience engaging KOLs/high‑influence accounts
  • Business acumen, data‑driven/strategic thinking
  • Digital engagement capability (e.g., Veeva Engage, Teams) and comfort with hybrid selling.
Work Location & Travel

Reside within workable distance of territory points of business; ability to travel to all accounts/office locations; overnight stays as needed.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $108,600–$250,700.
  • During initial training: salary non‑exempt (overtime eligible); after certification: overtime exempt.
  • Sales Incentive bonus.
  • Benefits include 401(k) with matching and additional retirement contribution, paid vacation/holidays/personal days, caregiver/parental and medical leave, and medical/dental/vision coverage.
