Role Description

This is a full-time Environmental Scientist/Planner role in Providence, RI, with the option for a hybrid work arrangement. Responsibilities include conducting environmental fieldwork, preparing environmental impact assessments, performing wetlands evaluations, and providing high-quality environmental consulting to clients. The role also involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to address complex environmental and ecological challenges, as well as supporting sustainable development and regulatory compliance for various projects.

Qualifications
  • Experience in environmental science, environmental consulting, and familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Proficiency in conducting fieldwork and evaluating wetlands resources.
  • Experience with environmental impact assessments and developing solutions to mitigate project impacts on ecological systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills in environmental and ecological contexts.
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills to produce reports and interact with clients effectively.
  • Proficiency in GIS mapping software and related technologies is a plus.
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Planning, or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively on projects with varying complexity and scope.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for out-of-state project work.
