As a Clinical Support Specialist New England area, you will support both our clinical and forensics customers through pre‑sales and post‑sales activities. Reporting to the US Applications and Support Manager, Clinical Business Unit, you will join a passionate, agile team to develop innovative solutions to address high unmet needs and establish Waters as the leader in clinical LC-MS diagnostics markets.
- Demonstrate Waters clinical solutions to customers through sample analyses in our demo lab facilities (mainly Milford, MA).
- Support sales colleagues with your technical expertise through joint visits or internal meetings.
- Train and support customers with their Waters LC/MS instruments, either remotely or on‑site.
- Work closely with the service organization in support of customers, analyzing and reviewing system and scientific data to determine the source of problems and recommending corrective actions.
- Manage customer expectations by communicating work performed and providing follow‑up plans if required.
- Build strong rapport and trusted advisor partnerships with the customer base, providing suitable advice and support on Waters products and services and identifying opportunities for further laboratory advancement.
- Interest in science, problem‑solving, application support, and people.
- Background in laboratory, analytical, chemistry, or engineering.
- Flexible and enjoys variety in the role; able to build trusted relationships with customers.
- True expert in liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry, with support for customers.
- Understanding of clinical and forensic LC/MS/MS applications is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel roughly 50% of the time, mainly in the New England area, with occasional trips to other states.
- Resides close to the Milford headquarters and a major regional airport.
- Proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.
