The HVAC Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems across a territory of Walgreens locations within a 20–30 mile radius of Providence, RI. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, independence, and the ability to diagnose and repair walk-in coolers and freezers efficiently. This position is part of the Engineering & Technical Services function and supports preventive maintenance and repairs on building equipment and systems.

• Install, repair, adjust, and maintain small electric or pneumatic control systems used for building HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Conduct ongoing maintenance to ensure proper equipment operation and compliance with applicable codes and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Service walk-in coolers and freezers, including refrigerant systems.
• Plan daily service routes based on assigned calls and service needs.
• Deliver work output by following defined procedures and processes.
• Work independently while servicing assigned locations.

• Servicing Walgreens locations within approximately a 20–30 mile radius of Providence, RI.
• Launch from home daily.
• Provides a company vehicle.
• Independent field-based role.

• 3+ years of refrigeration experience preferred (open to all levels with relevant experience).
• Experience with refrigerant systems and troubleshooting broken walk-in freezers.
• Universal EPA License (required).
• Valid Driver’s License (required).
• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Tablet/iPad and mobile platform usage
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset

• Ability to stoop, stand, walk, and climb stairs/ladders
• Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs. or more
