Maintenance Technician
South County, RI | $21-$24/hour

Locations: West Warwick, South Kingstown, Hopkinton, Richmond, Westerly, Exeter

Position Summary:

We are hiring a reliable Maintenance Technician to support routine repairs, preventive maintenance, unit turnovers, and common-area upkeep across South County properties. The ideal candidate is hands-on, service-oriented, and comfortable working independently across multiple sites.

Reports to:

Maintenance Team Lead

This role supports multiple locations across South County, RI.

• Complete routine maintenance and repair work in residential units and common areas.
• Handle work orders, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Support unit turnovers, appliance replacement, and general property upkeep.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls as part of an on-call rotation.
• Use mobile tools to track and complete assigned work.

• 1–3 years of maintenance experience preferred, ideally in residential or multi-unit housing.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and access to an insured vehicle.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, or appliance repair.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and provide strong customer service.

• Comfort using mobile apps or digital tools for work orders.
• Strong attention to safety and quality.
• Flexible, dependable, and able to participate in an on-call schedule.
• Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus.

Pay Range: $21-$24/hour
