Environmental Technician

You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for transporting, loading, and offloading drums of waste, ensuring proper identification and separation of hazardous and non-hazardous materials. • Transport drums of waste and correctly place them in designated areas.
• Identify and label drums filled with various substances.
• Load and offload drums onto trucks efficiently and safely.
• Separate hazardous waste from non-hazardous waste and place them in appropriate areas of the warehouse.
• Sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse.

• 1+ year of experience in environmental labor.
• Strong work ethic and desire to build a career in the environmental field.
• Ability to identify and manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Mechanical and general labor skills.
• Great mindset and a proactive attitude.

• 40 Hour Hazwoper certification is a plus but not required.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Experience in construction, environmental science, and remediation.
• Troubleshooting abilities in a warehouse environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Providence, RI.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
