This role is for a skilled, caring SLP who wants to make a real difference in the lives of middle schoolers.

• Provide direct speech and language services to students with IEPs, meeting all required service minutes
• Conduct evaluations and re‑evaluations to determine eligibility and monitor progress
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and the special education team to embed language supports across content areas
• Participate in and help facilitate IEP meetings, including goal‑writing and progress reporting
• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation, including Medicaid billing records for eligible services
• Build strong relationships with students and families, communicating regularly about progress
• Participate in professional development, team meetings, and community events

Position Type: Part‑time

• Full Rhode Island certification/licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist (or eligibility)
• CCC‑SLP preferred
• Experience with school‑aged students, particularly middle schoolers, preferred
• Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply
• Strong organizational and communication skills
