We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect/Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and experience with data processing and analytics using Big Query.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust applications and data pipelines using Java and GCP services.
- Implement data processing solutions using Big Query to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Utilize Kafka for real-time data streaming and processing.
- Manage and optimize Postgre
SQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance. - Develop solutions that efficiently handle and process large transaction volumes.
- Explore and implement AI technologies to automate coding tasks and improve development efficiency.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our development practices.
- Document technical specifications, processes, and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 9+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on Java.
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its services, particularly Big Query.
- Proficiency in using Kafka for data streaming and processing.
- Solid experience with Postgre
SQL, including database design, optimization, and management. - Proven experience in developing solutions that process large transaction volumes efficiently.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and experience in replacing task-based work with AI solutions, including coding automation.
- Familiarity with reporting/analytical applications and operational applications.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
