The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority is seeking a Paratransit Operator CDL Trainee to assist seniors and people with disabilities using specialized 16-passenger vans. This temporary position will support trainees in obtaining full RI CDL licenses through practical training with RIPTA Instructors.
Successful candidates will gain the necessary endorsements and may transition to a permanent position upon completing their CDL road skills test. The role requires a high school diploma, exceptional customer service skills, and valid RI CDL or permit eligibility.
