Join GRASSOS SERVICE CENTER INC TOWING as a Tow Truck Operator in Providence, RI! Be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional roadside assistance and towing services to our valued customers.

THIS IS A WEEKEND POSITION (ALL 52 WEEKENDS). IF YOU HAVE PLANS ON THE WEEKENDS, THIS POSITION IS NOT FOR YOU.

Hourly rate: $27.50 per hour; minimum weekly pay: $1200.

• Towing
• Lockouts
• Jump starts
• Tire changes
• Winch outs

• Wed & Fri: 10am-8pm
• Sat & Sun: 12pm-12am
• 1 Friday per month: 2pm-12am
• Wed & Fri: cover police after 8pm if needed
• Sat & Sun: cover police 12am-7am after normal shift
• Total 44 hours, options for additional hours

• Safely operate tow trucks to transport vehicles to designated locations.
• Respond promptly to towing requests and emergency situations.
• Perform vehicle inspections and ensure all equipment is in working order.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.
• Maintain accurate records of services rendered and vehicle condition.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist with minor vehicle repairs and jump-starts as needed.
• Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Previous towing experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of towing equipment and safety practices.
• Dependable, punctual, and a team player.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must live within 10 miles of Providence and have a safe place to park flatbed.
