Shuttle Driver Fri. PT; Chauffeur or CDL license

We are seeking a part time shuttle driver for work in Providence, RI. The shuttle operates 11:30am–6:30pm, providing safe rides for college students. The vehicle is a 14‑passenger walk‑on shuttle that is cleaned and maintained regularly.

Shuttle drivers earn a base rate of $21/hour. Drivers with a CDL and passenger endorsement earn $23/hour. The shuttle provides late‑night rides for college students.

• Greeting patrons politely and assisting them in any way we can.
• Safely shuttling customers to various destinations.
• Opening and closing doors for patrons.
• Adhering to all traffic laws and signs to ensure the safest possible operation of our shuttles.
• Communicating effectively with customers and co‑workers, including radio contact with management, shuttle drivers and lot attendants.
• Completing required pre‑trip inspections to meet federal and company safety requirements.
• Recording passenger counts and trip times.
• Completing necessary paperwork involved in daily operations.
• Assisting in equipment set‑up and breakdown (e.g., signs, cones).
• Sweeping shuttles and removing debris to ensure cleanliness.
• Communicating mechanical problems with shuttles to management.
• Complying with company procedures for shuttle operations.

• Must be over 20.
• Customer service experience is a must.
• Valid RI Chauffeur license or CDL with passenger endorsement required.
• Valid medical card required.
• Background check and driving test will be conducted.
