Job Overview

North East Electrical is seeking a Full Time, Local Route CDL B Driver to join our growing team in Providence, RI.

Hours:

Monday – Friday 6:30am. Rate: $25.50/hr.

Required:

Must hold a valid CDL B license with a clean MVR for the past five years. RI Hoisting License preferred.

As a North East Electrical Driver, you will be the face of the company, driving a company-provided truck to transport materials to our valued customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Operate company equipment safely and maintain product in perfect condition for customers.
• Deliver material in a timely manner to customers.
• Maintain vehicle in proper working condition—conduct daily inspections as stated in established policies and procedures.
• Load and unload trucks, move material safely using forklift, pallet jack, handcart, or other device.
• Count, check, prepare, and record items being received or shipped.
• May assemble, package, label, stack, palletize, and route material for safe delivery or storage.
• Complete paperwork, documentation, and data input in accordance with established procedures.
• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Perform other related duties as required or directed by manager.

• Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 75 lbs.
• Strong math and reading skills.

• Valid CDL B license with clean MVR for the past five years (required).
• RI Hoisting License preferred.
