Corporate Property Accountant
Location: Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121
Pay: $25–$26/hr (DOE)
Length: Contract to hire
We’re seeking a Corporate Property Accountant with hands‑on property management accounting experience
—not just general accounting. This role supports a growing property management portfolio and requires someone who understands the unique financial workflows of real estate operations.
- Full-cycle accounting for multiple properties
- CAM reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries
- Monthly financial reporting
- Bank reconciliations and balance sheet maintenance
- Work closely with property managers and leadership
- Accounting degree required
- Property management accounting experience is a must
- Strong understanding of property financials, ledgers, and reconciliations
- Proficiency with property management software (Yardi, App Folio, MRI, etc.)
- Detail‑oriented, reliable, and able to manage multiple properties
- Property management or real estate accounting experience required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with property management accounting software such as Yardi, App Folio, Entrata, or CYMA
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and reconciliations
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and math skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to meet deadlines and communicate effective with internal teams and clients
