These are guest services staff positions needed on a part-time seasonal basis at the Provo Peaks Ice Arena. Individuals interested in performing the duties described herein are encouraged to apply.

$10.00 - $13.00 per hour (depending upon skill level and experience) Payment will be by direct deposit. Seasonal Provo City employees are eligible to contribute to individual retirement savings plans through the City (401k, 457, Roth IRA, and/or Traditional IRA) and receive these great benefits:

• Perform general duties in admissions, concessions, and skate rental at the Peaks Ice Arena.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• Any training and/or experience which would demonstrate an ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Be 16 years of age at time of appointment.
• Valid, lawful driver license may be required at time of appointment.

These are seasonal positions needed from September 2026 - Mid April 2027. Work hours are up to 40 hours per week, between 6 a.m. and 1 a.m., Monday through Saturday. (The majority of shifts are scheduled 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. Fridays, and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturdays.) Actual schedule will be set by the supervisor based on department need.

Employee will also be expected to fill in for other staff as needed.

This work requires walking, sitting, bending, reaching, lifting up to 30 pounds, and sitting for extended periods at a computer terminal.

If selected for hire, candidate will be required to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check.

Non-disclosure may result in dismissal. Applicants with unsatisfactory drug screen results will be ineligible for appointment or application to any Provo City position for a minimum period of six (6) months.
