A Job Nimbus Director of Design is a strategic leader who bridges the gap between user needs, business goals, and design excellence. They champion a user-centric approach, fostering a collaborative environment to create intuitive and delightful product experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • User Impact:
    Driving measurable improvements in user engagement, satisfaction, and key user metrics.
  • Design Excellence:
    Delivering high-quality design solutions that meet usability, accessibility, and brand standards.
  • Team Leadership:
    Building a strong, motivated design team, fostering professional development and collaboration.
  • Strategic Thinking:
    Aligning design efforts with business goals and product roadmap, translating user needs into actionable design solutions.
  • Communication & Advocacy:
    Effectively communicating design decisions and rationale to stakeholders across the organization.
What Makes You A Superhero For This Role
  • Minimum 5+ years in product design leadership
  • Proven track record of leading and mentoring design teams.
  • Strong understanding of design principles (interaction design, UI/UX, visual design).
  • Experience with user research methodologies (user interviews, usability testing).
  • Proficiency in Figma and other tools (Sketch, Adobe XD).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into clear and concise design solutions.
  • Passion for user-centered design and a relentless focus on improving user experience.
