Compensation & Posting

Compensation: $1250/week (comparable to public school pay)

Posting Close Date: February 14, 2026 (last day to apply is Friday, February 13, 2026).

What You’ll Do In This Position
  • Responsible to plan and teach a weeklong camp for children ages 5 – 9. Lessons are based on the weekly STEM topics and incorporate appropriate Utah State core curriculum.
  • Document learning for each child throughout the week.
  • Identify the supplies needed for each lesson. All supplies are purchased by the CFSL.
  • Communicate with parents as needed.
  • Oversee the guidance and safety of children.
Additional Information

Camps operate Monday – Friday from 9:00 – 11:30 and 12:00 – 2:30 (except for the weeks including June 19, July 3, and July 24; these weeks will be 4-day camps). The first camp begins the week of June 8th and the last camp will be held the week of July 20th. The 2025 camps are listed on our website at (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).

This list is subject to change for 2026 camps based on teacher interest and availability.

In addition to your resume, please include a cover letter outlining the weeks you are available to teach as well as the STEM topics you are interested in teaching. Failure to include this information in your cover letter may lead to your application not being considered.

Required What Qualifies You for This Role
  • Bachelor’s degree in early childhood or elementary education
  • 3 years of experience as a certified public-school teacher
  • Ability to teach and manage a class of 20 children
  • Ability to mentor BYU students assigned as support teachers
