Job DescriptionThis position is central to the missionaries' role to 'Invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end.' Mission Finding Specialists are entry-level, individual contributors who work closely with proselyting missions to support localized advertising, referral contacting, and organic social media finding.

- Able to read, write, and speak both Spanish and English fluently
- Optimize ad campaigns using downstream key indicator data
- Increase ad spend on successful campaigns
- Turn off poorly performing campaigns and analyze reasons for failure
- Coordinate with local missions to create and publish high‑intent ads in Meta Ads Manager
- Conduct weekly planning to prioritize tasks for the week
- Connect lead generation forms to the Preach My Gospel App (previously Area Book App)
- Identify and resolve backend and frontend referral contacting issues
- Train referral secretaries and social media leaders on their responsibilities
- Respond to messages from missions within 24 hours (excluding weekends)
- Collaborate regularly with team members to help them meet deadlines and succeed
- Synthesize feedback from local missions
- Identify and promote organic social media finding best practices
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Required:
- Experience publishing ads in Meta Ads Manager and evaluating key indicator performance
- Proactive, organized, and detail‑oriented
- Experience with social media missionary work as either a social media leader or referral secretary
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
- Demonstrated effective communication with all audiences, including senior leaders (written and verbal excellence)
- Competent in online interaction tools such as Messenger, Zoom, and video conferencing
- Ability to synthesize complex information into clear takeaways and recommendations using qualitative and quantitative methods
- Plans effectively according to Mission Finding Specialist priorities and achieves goals using Preach My Gospel chapter eight
- Demonstrated outstanding training abilities
- Must possess and maintain a current temple recommend
- Full‑time service as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑day Saints
- Deep understanding of direct response marketing best practices
- Creative portfolio showcasing videography, photography, graphic design, etc.
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with exceptional academic history
Mission Finding Specialists are expected to work from a distraction‑free environment with a strong Wi‑Fi connection. The Finding Support Center strives to maintain a culture of collaboration regardless of physical location.
