Required Degree: Master’s Degree, preferably in an internationally focused field of study.
Required Experience:
- Prior experience creating university‑level course material intended for online delivery.
- Ability to personalize academic requirements for each student.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to work simultaneously with multiple students, faculty advisors, and department administrators.
- 2+ years of university‑level teaching experience and/or experience working with domestic and international internship providers.
- Collaborate with Kennedy Center Internship coordinators and ISP program coordinators/directors to create and deliver academic content and reflection opportunities linked to each student’s internship.
- Adjust course design to accommodate varying internship start and end dates, internship type, and credit hours.
- Provide timely feedback on worklogs, reflections, and other assignments.
- Ensure that each internship meets the criteria for university credit and verifies that students complete the minimum required work hours.
- Submit final grades at the end of each semester/term and, if necessary, arrange extensions when internship completion dates conflict with the university calendar.
- Report directly to the Kennedy Center Associate Director for Academic Programs.
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed in relation to the course.
- Relocate to, or reside in, Utah for the duration of employment.
- All new employees who are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑Day Saints will be required to hold a current temple recommend.

- Preference is given to qualified candidates who are members in good standing of the affiliated church.
