Honor Code Administrator
At Brigham Young University, the Honor Code is central to our mission and community. We are seeking a principled, compassionate professional to serve as Honor Code Administrator, a critical role responsible for conducting sensitive investigations and leading training and outreach efforts. Working closely with the Honor Code Office leadership, this individual will uphold BYU and Church policies with integrity, navigate complex and sometimes challenging situations, and support students while safeguarding the university's standards and public trust.
What you'll do in this position:
1. Investigate Honor Code Reports
* Receive and assess reports to determine jurisdiction and potential violations.
* Develop and manage investigation plans, including interviews, evidence collection, and detailed recordkeeping.
* Communicate processes, rights, and updates to involved parties and university leadership; present findings and recommendations.
* Ensure impartiality, provide supportive/interim measures, and maintain compliance with federal/state laws and university policies.
* Implement educational action plans that provide support and structure to assist students in aligning their behavior with university policies.
2. Outreach and Training
* Research, develop, and deliver campus-wide training and educational materials on student conduct and Honor Code policies.
* Ensure programs comply with legal standards and best practices; stay current on laws and higher education trends.
* Support outreach initiatives and review/update Honor Code Office web content.
3. Receive Training and Education on Student Conduct Issues
* Participate in ongoing professional development, including webinars, workshops, and regional/national conferences.
What qualifies you for this role:
Required
* A firm commitment to the mission of BYU.
* Bachelor's degree and 2 years' professional experience in advisement, student affairs, arbitration or related field or a combination of education and experience.
Preferred
* Master's degree and 5 years' experience in advisement, arbitration or related field.

Typical Starting Pay: $73,000 - $95,000
