We are looking for a Lead Guide who will be responsible for leading a studio of 15–20 students, designing and facilitating learning experiences, and building a strong, values‑driven culture. This role blends teaching, coaching, and leadership. This role is ideal for educators with 2–3 years of experience who are looking to be part of an innovative educational organization and develop further in their career.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Lead a studio of students through daily learning experiences
- Track student progress using academic data and deliver 1:1 coaching and instruction
- Design and prepare learning experiences (projects, writing, discussions, exhibitions, events)
- Communicate regularly with families about student progress and key events
- Build a strong studio culture focused on ownership, respect, and accountability
- Work in a mission‑driven school with highly engaged families
- Be part of a small, close‑knit team with strong culture
- Gain hands‑on experience in an innovative, student‑centered model
- Opportunity to grow into more advanced guiding roles over time
- Degree in a relevant field – Education or STEM majors preferred
- 2–3+ years of teaching experience, preferably with elementary‑age children
- Strong reliability, organization, and attention to detail
- Lead classroom experience is significantly more valuable than assistant roles
- Take ownership of your work and follow through consistently
- Are patient, observant, and supportive with young learners
- Thrive in taking on new challenges and bringing joy to every experience
- Salary: $40,000–$70,000 (depending on experience) + benefits
- Schedule:
Full‑time (8:00 am–4:00 pm) - 10‑month school year, with June as a working month and July off
- Paid holidays and school breaks
