Duties/Expectations:
The selected candidate will teach POLI 393R:
Topics in Legal Studies. This specific section will be focused on Mock Trial. Mock trial is a simulated courtroom trial proceeding where students act as lawyers and witnesses to argue a fictional legal case. College mock trial, as hosted by the American Mock Trial Association, includes a case that is hundreds of pages long, with dozens of exhibits. The selected candidate(s) will be expected to provide instruction, coach the mock trial team, hold office hours, evaluate student work, and give feedback to students.

Not expected to participate in faculty meetings or serve on department committees.
