• Teach ENGL 211 and ENGL 212 (GE Rhetoric & Civilization) in‑person on the BYU Provo campus.
• Provide timely assignment feedback and maintain at least three office hours per week (in‑person or online).
• Share an office with up to two adjunct faculty members.
• Attend department training prior to teaching and periodic course coordination meetings.
• May participate in additional ad hoc curricular and mentoring assignments, and mini‑workshops, with supplemental compensation.

• MFA in Creative Writing, MA in English, or a comparable degree completed before the start date.
• College‑level experience teaching English literature courses.
• Residency in the State of Utah.
• Required to provide a Mission Alignment Statement (see below).

• Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑day Saints must hold and be worthy of a current temple recommend.
• All employees must abide by the university's Honor Code and Dress & Grooming Standards.
