Required Degree:

BA or BFA in Film Production. The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience:

1+ years of university teaching experience is preferred

Notable teaching outside of a university setting2+ years of professional experience

Knowledge of current industry practices and post-production pipelines

Advanced knowledge of color management, image correction, look development, and delivery standards

Understanding of how color supports visual storytelling

Duties/Expectations:

Prepare course syllabus.

Manage the classroom and also the digital learning management system connected to the class (Canvas).Mentor students, working closely with beginning to advanced students

Assisting with students' final Advanced Film Projects.

Provide constructive, specific feedback on student work.

Teach and demonstrate professional workflows in DaVinci Resolve Conduct demonstrations, critiques, and hands-on lab instruction

Discuss portfolio development and career preparation

Cover collaboration with filmmakers in production, cinematography, editing, and visual effects

Advise students on creative and technical challenges, covering final color finishing and delivery for theatrical, broadcast, streaming, and digital platforms;

Maintain current knowledge of industry standards and technologies
