Required Degree:
Bachelor’s or graduate degree in business and/or an experience-related field. Master’s or PhD preferred. The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Experience:
· At least 3 years of experience in the Inclusion & Belonging space required.
· Previous university-level teaching experience preferred.
Duties/Expectations:
Teach up to 3 sections of a 3-credit-hour core course: EXDM 418 – Designing for Inclusion and Belonging, including delivery, management, preparation/collaboration, and co-teaching with Full-time Faculty teaching other sections of the course.
Focus on:the Savior’s model of ministering to the one to help students explore the core principles of inclusive design through a global and gospel-centered lens, equipping students with the ability to see, hear, and connect with others, and the tools to create environments, systems, and experiences that are inclusive, accessible, equitable, and empowering for people of all backgrounds and abilities.helping students examine the power of diversity, the impact of unconscious bias, and the systemic roots of inequity across cultures and contexts.
Use case studies, reflective exercises, gospel study, and transformative experiential learning to help students challenge and broaden their worldview, question their assumptions, and develop empathy-driven, Christ-centered inclusion, belonging, and design approaches.helping students experience the importance of engaging with perspectives different from their own, just as the Savior did, to foster more human- and heaven-centered solutions and ultimately become Christlike leaders who use intentional experiences to help lift, design, and transform the world where all can feel they truly belong.
