Required Degree:

Graduate degree in School Psychology or a closely related field.

The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years working as a School Psychologist.

Experience providing consultation services in school settings.

Experience collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Previous teaching experience at the college or graduate level is preferred.

Course

Description:

CPSE 610 prepares graduate students to provide consultation and collaborate effectively within school and family systems. The course emphasizes evidence-based consultation models, data-based problem solving, systems-level consultation, family-school partnerships, ethical and culturally responsive practice, and the use of consultation to improve academic, behavioral, and social-emotional outcomes for children and adolescents.

Duties/Expectations:

Must be available to teach in person 9:00
-11:50 am on campus on Wednesdays for Fall semester, September 2-December 10, 2026.Prepare candidates to apply evidence-based consultation and collaboration practices with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success.

Develop candidates' ability to use data-based problem-solving to design, implement, monitor, and evaluate interventions that address individual and systems-level needs.

Foster culturally responsive, ethical, and systems-oriented consultation practices that strengthen family–school partnerships and promote equitable outcomes for diverse learners.

Equip candidates to conduct program evaluations using the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) Practice Model and Professional Standards to assess the effectiveness of school psychology services and inform continuous program improvement.
