Adjunct Teaching – Office of Digital Humanities – DigHT 360:
Programming for Text Processing and Analysis (Evening School)

College‑level teaching position for the course DigHT/Ling
360. The start date is September1,2026 and the Final date to receive applications is July
15,2026.

• Teach the course following the department‑approved curriculum
• Hold regular office hours
• Complete grade books, final grade sheets, learning assessments, and final exam assessments on a timely basis
• Identify at‑risk students and refer them to academic support services
• Ensure course and program learning outcomes are delivered per syllabus
• Assist students in meeting the AIMS of BYU education and progress in the course

• Ph.D. in computational linguistics or a related field, completed by the start date
• Significant experience with Python (10+ years), text analysis, and computational linguistics (10+ years)
• Teaching experience at the college level (7+ years)
• Familiarity with BYU policy and procedure
• Relocation to or residency in Utah for the duration of employment
