Required Degree:Ph.D. in biochemistry, chemistry, or allied fields.
The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Experience:Strong applicants in all areas of biochemistry and chemistry are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to those with proven publication records from Ph.D. and post-doctoral work.
Duties/Expectations:The new faculty member will be expected to excel in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, as well as to develop a productive, externally-funded research program.
Documents Required at the Time of Application:All full-time faculty applicants are also required to submit a Mission Alignment Statement, along with two research proposal summaries of approximately five pages each.
This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
