Required Degree:

Ph.D. in computer science or a related field, or MS in computer a science/closely related field.

The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience:
Candidates without a Ph.D. should have 10 years or more of experience in a leadership or advanced technical role in software engineering or a related field. This includes but is not limited to:
Principal Engineer, Architect, Chief Technology Officer, or Founder. Experience with modern AI-based software engineering methodologies is strongly preferred.

Duties/Expectations:

Primary duty is to teach undergraduate classes. Duties also include creating experiential learning opportunities including capstone projects. Innovate in curriculum and pedagogy. Lead department efforts to educate undergraduates in CS.

This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
