Required Degree

Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology or related field

The required degree must be completed by the start date.

Experience
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching graduate‑level courses in counseling psychology content areas
  • Strong record or clear potential for high‑quality research in counseling psychology
  • Experience mentoring and advising graduate students in field‑based work and research
  • Demonstrated excellence in working as a counseling psychologist in clinical settings
  • Knowledge of APA accreditation requirements for counseling psychology programs
  • Licensed as a psychologist
Duties / Expectations
  • Teach graduate courses in counseling psychology
  • Mentor and supervise students in the Counseling Psychology Doctoral program
  • Conduct independent research
  • Ensure APA accreditation for the program
  • Active engagement in ongoing enhancement to improve program outcomes and student experiences
  • Support collaboration with Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)
  • Support university, college, and department goals and mission (see: https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).)

This position requires the successful candidate to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment.
