Field Service Counter Specialist

Hose & Rubber Supply is a regional company in the Rocky Mountain West with six store locations over five states. We strive to identify and satisfy our customers' needs with our extensive hose and fitting knowledge, large hydraulic and industrial hose and fittings inventory, and hydraulic CNC tube bender. We pride ourselves on problem solving for our wide variety of customers, whether in the oilfield, construction, medical, manufacturing, military, or government.

As a Field Service Counter Specialist, you would be responsible for providing customer service at temporary Field Service locations near customer job sites for our Provo, UT branch. This is a full-time position with benefits.

• Greet and work with customers to identify and satisfy the customer's needs for a quote/order in a profitable and timely manner.
• Prepare and assemble customer orders. Coordinate with the main branch for items not available at the Field Service location.
• Maintain the Field Service location, ensuring that tools, hoses, fittings, and parts are well-organized and at appropriate inventory levels.
• Receive phone calls and emails and work with the sales team, main branch, and customers to identify and satisfy the customer's needs for quotes/orders in a profitable and timely manner
• Work with Field Sales Representatives to generate more business by providing referrals and following up for the results
• When there is not a Field Service location available, you will work out of the main branch.

• Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver license with a good driving record
• Written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on product knowledge

• Ability to lift up to 75lbs at a time
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to perform physical tasks in an outdoor and warehouse environment

• Basic computer and math skills

• General education degree (GED), H.S. diploma, associate's, or bachelor's degree
• 3-4 years of mechanical and/or industry specific experience
• Understanding of Hose and Rubber's product portfolio and their application preferred

• Hourly: $27.00 - $36.00+ per hour (base of $27 per hour, plus monthly counter commission and quarterly EO Incentive)
• Schedule:
  
  40+ hours a week;
  Monday to Friday with scheduled Saturday morning rotations (8 am - noon)
