A&P Technician

Elevate Aviation Group is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented A&P Technician to join our maintenance team in Salt Lake City, UT. The ideal candidate will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on a variety of aircraft, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company safety standards. This role requires hands‑on technical expertise, a strong understanding of aircraft systems, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and complex maintenance on aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations, manufacturer manuals, and company procedures.
- Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications on airframes, engines, avionics, and other aircraft systems.
- Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance logs, records, and FAA‑compliant documentation.
- Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, maintenance planners, and other technicians to complete aircraft maintenance efficiently.
- Diagnose mechanical and structural issues and determine corrective actions.
- Support aircraft ground operations, including pre‑flight and post‑flight checks.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure a clean and organized environment.
- FAA A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) Certification required.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience performing aircraft maintenance in a commercial, corporate, or military environment.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, structures, and FAA regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and safety awareness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience with business jets or regional aircraft.
- Experience with avionics troubleshooting and installations.
- Experience with inspections such as 100‑hour, annual, and phase checks.
Onsite position in Salt Lake City, UT. May require occasional overtime or flexible hours based on operational needs.
CompensationCompetitive hourly pay based on experience. Per diem and travel support as applicable.
