Job Title
Integrated Functional Capability (IFC) System Engineering & Integration (SEI) Lead – Systems Engineering Manager 3.
LocationRoy, Utah (SDS Division). This position may offer a competitive relocation package.
Key Responsibilities- Stand up the IFC‑SEI Team within the System Integration & Sustainment Directorate and lead IFC strategic vision.
- Derive level 1 and 2 requirements and coordinate the development and execution of IFC major milestone events across multiple program BUs.
- Collaborate closely with Integrated Product Teams responsible for hardware, software, and system design to identify system functions for incremental delivery and define hardware and software configuration with program timing.
- Support the evolution of multiple products starting with an overarching Strategic IFC Plan and detailed IFC plans and schedules.
- Guide the development effort of an IFC until certification that the integrated set of products meets functional and performance requirements.
- Grow technical breadth across a broad portfolio of mission threads and apply lean‑agile, model‑based frameworks.
- Perform Control Account Management and Risk Management duties.
- Communicate effectively with executive leadership and manage executive interactions on a daily basis.
- Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 8 years of related experience; 6 years with a master’s degree.
- U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access.
- Active U.S. Government Secret clearance with a background investigation close date within the past six years.
- Direct experience in major systems engineering design or integration activities (e.g., SRR, SFR, PDR, CDR, System Test, or System Activation).
- Experience presenting to internal and external stakeholders to drive outcomes.
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Special Program Access.
- 3+ years of leadership or program management experience.
- Control Account Manager or Work Package Lead experience.
- Functional Management experience.
- Ability to manage concurrent efforts and staffing requirements.
- Experience in developing Basis of Estimates and risk management.
- Experience with ICBM programs, Agile methodologies, Integrated Functional Capability process, and Model‑Based Engineering.
- Proven team leadership in program integration, operations, proposals, or capture efforts.
