Aquaveo specializes in water resources modeling software and web solutions combining expertise in hydrology, hydraulics, geospatial analysis, and web development todeliver cutting-edge tools that enable efficient water management. Aquaveo's software products are widely used by government agencies, engineering firms, and research institutions around the world for applications such as streamflow and flood forecasting, hydrologic modeling, and managing water distribution networks.

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Geospatial Data Scientist Intern. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that involve geospatial analysis and web development oriented to water resources and earth sciences in general.

• Currently pursuing or completed a degree in Water Resources or Geospatial Engineering, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic Python programming for data science (e.g geopandas, xarray, numpy).
• Basic knowledge of geospatial visualization.
• Basic database management and SQL knowledge is helpful but not required.
• Experience with Git versioning is helpful but not required.

• Ability to work cooperatively in an agile programming environment.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Between $15-$18/hr DOE
• 20-30 hours per week
