Role Description

The Onsite Event Assistant role at Berriman Events is an on-site position based in Utah, United States. This role supports event managers during live events by assisting with venue setup and breakdown, coordinating vendor arrivals and logistics, and preparing materials such as signage, registration lists, and guest packets. The Onsite Event Assistant welcomes and directs attendees, manages registration and check-in, and responds to real-time requests to help ensure a smooth event flow.

The role also includes monitoring event spaces for cleanliness and safety, troubleshooting minor issues, and communicating updates to the event coordinator or manager throughout the event.

Qualifications
  • Event operations and logistics skills, including experience with onsite setup, vendor coordination, and attendee flow management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to interact professionally with clients, guests, and vendors.
  • Organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving and adaptability, including staying calm under pressure and responding quickly to last-minute changes.
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work evenings or weekends as required by event schedules.
  • Previous experience in events, hospitality, customer service, or related fields is beneficial.
  • Reliable transportation to various event venues in Utah and legal authorization to work in the United States.
