Lending Loan Reviewer

Job Description

At Regions, the Home Improvement Financing Loan Application Reviewer is responsible for reviewing customer loan applications, including the credit decision and verification documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance in processing and decisioning. The role involves tracking time and may be eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

8‑hour shift between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Specific hours will be discussed during the interview process.

• Reviews loan applications, including the credit decision and verification documentation to ensure accuracy in processing
• Documents errors and reports findings to management
• Aids in developing training and procedural recommendations to Lending Management based on accuracy figures
• Provides ad hoc reporting and prepares tracking sheets on loan exceptions
• Audits loan verifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Three (3) years of lending, documentation, quality, audit, or related experience

• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
• Demonstrated good judgement and professionalism in difficult situations
• Excellent typing skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of credit underwriting and documentation verification processes
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and database applications

• Prior Lending experience
• Experience in quality assurance, quality control, audit, or loan review environments
• Banking or financial services industry experience

Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location, and performance in the job role. The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position:
Job Range Target: $40,000.00 USD. Median: $48,310.00 USD. This job is not incentive eligible.
