Position: Travel Angiography Technologist - $3,246 per week

American Traveler is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Provo, Utah.

Assignment Overview
  • Shift: 4×10‑hour days per week; days may vary
  • Hours:

Responsibilities
  • Provide imaging support during stroke interventions, embolizations, biopsies, and other complex IR procedures.
  • Serve as circulating, scrub, or monitoring technologist per Angio lab policies and Scope of Practice guidelines.
  • Perform post‑procedure tasks such as applying closure devices, suturing the sheath, or applying pressure for hemostasis.
  • Maintain knowledge of invasive, diagnostic, and interventional supplies, including indications and deployment techniques.
  • Assist with on‑call duties, including weekends (on‑call only).
  • Operate Epic EMR for charting.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of vascular or interventional radiology experience.
  • ARRT(R)(RT) with angiography experience, ARRT(VI), or vascular/interventional radiography certification.
  • Active Utah State Radiologic Technologist License, if applicable.
  • BLS (AHA) certification current at start; must not expire before assignment begins.
  • ACLS or PALS certification preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • A personal radiation monitoring dosimeter badge required; candidates may bring an existing badge.
  • Disclosure of date of birth and last four digits of Social Security Number for consideration.
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and move patients; push and pull gurneys and portable equipment; stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to navigate busy, equipment‑filled rooms and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
  • Candidates formerly employed at an Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible.
