Youth Crisis Therapist

Join our dynamic team at Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Full-Time Therapist with our Children, Youth & Family Assessment Stabilization Team (CY-FAST) in Provo, Utah! This rewarding opportunity offers a competitive wage of $28.79–$44.47/hour, depending on experience and licensure, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of youth and families experiencing behavioral health crises. As part of our multidisciplinary crisis services team, you'll provide compassionate, evidence-based care through individual, family, and group therapy while collaborating with case managers, peer support specialists, and community partners to help youth achieve safety, stability, and long-term success.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Compensation: $28.79–$44.47 DOE and Licensure

What You'll Do as a Therapist

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy for children, adolescents, and their families.
• Complete clinical assessments, crisis evaluations, and individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based, trauma-informed interventions in both office and community settings, including mobile outreach when needed.
• Collaborate with case managers, peer support specialists, respite staff, hospitals, schools, and community partners to coordinate care.
• Support youth transitioning from psychiatric hospitalization and help ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in treatment team meetings and case consultations.
• Provide crisis intervention while promoting recovery, resilience, and family engagement.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Utah licensure as CSW, ACMHC, AMFT, LCSW, CMHC, or LMFT (or the ability to obtain it before starting).
• Solid skills in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and providing therapy.
• Comfortable working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a team.
• Reliable with documentation and maintaining professional standards.
• Committed to ethical practice and ongoing learning.
• Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase
