Patient Experience Representative - Scheduling Specialist

Intermountain Health -  - Responsibilities:
Create and manage provider's surgery and hospital procedure schedules, including in-office procedures and equipment coordination.;
Maintain changes, cancellations, rescheduling, and/or clinical follow-up on surgical schedules.;
Obtain authorizations for surgeries/hospital procedures by researching coverage and securing prior authorization.;
Meet with pre-operative patients to explain the surgery process and coordinate pre-op labs and prerequisites.;
Coordinate with providers, nursing staff, and hospital teams to ensure necessary equipment and items are available for procedures.
