Nuclear Medicine​/PET Tech

Intermountain Health seeks a Nuclear Medicine/PET Tech to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging using nuclear medicine and PET/CT technologies. In this role, you will prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, follow strict radiation safety protocols, and operate advanced imaging equipment to produce accurate, timely studies. You will collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and care teams, ensuring excellent patient education, comfort, and monitoring throughout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging studies per physician orders and protocols
• Prepare, calculate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately
• Apply radiation safety standards and maintain regulatory compliance
• Operate, calibrate, and perform quality control on imaging equipment
• Assess, educate, and monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
• Accurately document procedures and findings in PACS/RIS and EMR systems
• Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and infection control standards
• Participate in continuing education and process improvement initiatives
• Assist in training new staff and students as needed.
