We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Radiation Therapist to join our outstanding Radiation Oncology team in Provo, Utah. You’ll have the opportunity to work with cutting‑edge tools while making a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families every day.
What You'll DoAs a Radiation Therapist, you will be an integral member of the oncology care team, responsible for delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate radiation therapy treatments.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment procedures and expectations
- Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and patients for therapy sessions
- Verify treatment parameters and maintain accurate treatment documentation
- Perform weekly electronic chart reviews and treatment record audits
- Monitor patients for treatment‑related side effects and skin reactions
- Conduct tumor localization using image‑guided and surface‑guided technologies
- Schedule patient treatments and coordinate daily workflow
- Manage treatment supplies and maintain a clean, organized treatment environment
- Perform daily quality assurance and safety checks on treatment equipment, including the True Beam Linear Accelerator and CT scanner
- Support department quality and safety initiatives while maintaining compliance with established protocols
Required Qualifications
- ARRT Certification in Radiation Therapy
- Current Utah Radiation Therapist License
- Current BLS Certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient‑centered care and treatment excellence
- 2-3 years of Radiation Therapy experience (preferred, not required)
- Experience with Varian True Beam technology
- Experience using Aria Record & Verify systems
- CT Simulation experience
- Familiarity with advanced treatment modalities including IMRT, SRS, and SBRT
