Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an Inpatient Rehabilitation Therapy unit requiring 1+ year of experience and a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
DetailsInpatient Rehabilitation Therapy unit4x10-hour day shifts per week on a variable rotating schedule
May include weekend rotations
No on-call requirements
Epic EMR experience preferred
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required, Doctorate preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience required
Previous IRF (Inpatient Rehab) experience preferred
Active state Occupational Therapy license required (license required if applicable)
BLS certification required (AHA accepted, must not expire prior to start)
NBCOT certification preferred
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, pushing/pulling, standing, walking, squatting/kneeling, and manual dexterityDOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Provide direct patient care including assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment
Offer indirect services such as consulting, advising, teaching, and training patients and caregivers
Educate and train patients and caregivers on treatment plans
May accept assignments involving supervision of COTAs, aides, and students
Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the clinical setting
Maintain clinical documentation including chart notes, evaluations, and discharge summaries
Record daily charges according to department billing guidelines
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team Attend clinical meetings related to patient care and clinic management
Returning Intermountain employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before eligibility for a travel assignment
