About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Lead to join our 40 Rooms department. In this crucial role, you will oversee housekeeping operations, ensuring cleanliness, efficiency, and exceptional service. This position is ideal for someone passionate about maintaining high standards and leading a team in a fast-paced environment. As a full-time, hourly employee, you'll play a key part in fostering a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience for our guests and staff.

What You'll Do

  • Supervise daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all rooms and common areas meet cleanliness standards.
  • Coordinate and assign tasks to the housekeeping team, providing direction and support as needed.
  • Conduct regular checks and inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Train, mentor, and support housekeeping staff to enhance performance and foster a collaborative team environment.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock levels.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries or concerns related to housekeeping.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address operational needs and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain records of completed tasks and report on team performance and productivity.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership position.
  • Familiarity with housekeeping procedures, safety standards, and quality control measures.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English required.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve high-performance levels.
  • Basic proficiency in inventory management and operational reporting.
  • Physical stamina to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
