Position: Part-Time Flight Attendant (PVU)

Overview

Join Breeze Airways in Provo as a "Seriously Nice" Part‑Time Flight Attendant. Breeze Airways is expanding our Provo (PVU) Crew Base, and we’re looking for genuine, level‑headed, and kind‑hearted people to join us as Part‑Time Flight Attendants. If you stay calm when things get chaotic, actually enjoy helping others, and can be both professional and approachable, this might be the perfect fit.

Monthly guarantee: 37.5 flying hours. Location requirement: live within a two‑hour drive of Provo Municipal Airport.

Path to the job:
Interview, get selected, then successfully complete our initial Flight Attendant training (which is paid).

Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests warmly, help with seating, luggage, or garment stowage, and stay available for whatever they need next.
  • Keep your cool under pressure and turn stressful situations into manageable ones.
  • Work closely and respectfully with your fellow crew members – teamwork makes everything smoother.
  • Move through the cabin regularly, staying visible, approachable, and ready to help.
  • Roll with schedule changes caused by weather, delays, or operational needs without losing your sense of calm.
  • Stay on top of FAA rules, company policies, and ongoing training requirements.
  • Show up on time, prepared, and ready to go – personal responsibility matters here.
  • Look the part with professional grooming and etiquette, whether you’re in the cabin or representing Breeze elsewhere.
  • Jump into other departments if needed (flexibility is valued).
  • Use, explain, and troubleshoot Breeze’s inflight technology with confidence.
  • Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages while following strict hygiene standards.
  • Keep the cabin and galley clean and organized, even in tight spaces.
  • Give clear safety and evacuation instructions to guests.
  • Provide first aid or medical care in an emergency.
  • Keep your emotions in check and act appropriately even when things get intense.
  • Conduct security screenings and complete Autism Awareness Training.
  • Follow FAA and DOT travel regulations to the letter.
Qualifications
  • At least 21 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to reach and remove emergency equipment from overhead bins without help (height minimum).
  • Able to have adequate head clearance in the cabin (height maximum).
  • Able to sit and buckle into the E190 and A220 jumpseat harness and lap belt.
  • Neat, well‑groomed, and able to make a genuinely positive impression.
  • Service‑oriented at your core.
  • Follow CDC‑level hygiene standards.
  • Read, write, speak, and understand English clearly.
  • Pass a vision and hearing test.
  • Pass security screening training.
  • Pass a DOT pre‑employment drug test.
  • Pass a TSA fingerprint‑based criminal history check and a Breeze background check.
  • Have legal U.S. work authorization.
  • Have unrestricted legal travel rights to/from the United States.
  • Hold a current passport with at least six months remaining at the time of application.
  • Willing to relocate if the company's operational needs require it (where applicable).
  • Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
  • Able to report to your assigned base for your assigned trips.
  • Able to work “Reserve Assignment” in your base.
  • Self‑starter with a positive attitude and a genuine desire to succeed.
Grooming Guidelines
  • Nose piercings are allowed: single 2mm or smaller stud only (silver, gold, or gemstone).
  • No hoops.
  • No other facial piercings.
  • No teeth embellishments while in uniform.
  • Maximum two earrings per ear while in uniform.
  • Tattoos may be visible if they follow company guidelines (details provided during selection).
Skills That Will Help You Thrive
  • Standing for extended periods without issue.
  • Reading announcements and giving emergency commands clearly in English.
  • Turning problems into solutions or workarounds.
  • Thinking independently while staying connected to your team.
  • Working without direct supervision when needed.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds (luggage, etc.).
  • Closing overhead bins with about 50 pounds of push/pull force.
  • Helping disabled passengers in and out of the inflight wheelchair and moving them as needed.
  • Pushing/pulling beverage and food carts up and down inclines with about 60 pounds of force.
  • Performing all safety‑related procedures.
  • Living Breeze's safety culture, values, and mission—and being seriously nice.
  • Strong oral and written communication.
  • Solving problems, handling complaints, and de‑escalating conflict.
  • Working with people at all levels of the organization.
