We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to join our hospitality team and help ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests. In this role, you will support daily laundry operations by handling linens, towels, uniforms, and other hotel laundry items with care and efficiency. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining high standards, works well in a fast-paced setting, and contributes to a positive guest experience behind the scenes.
Responsibilities- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items according to established procedures.
- Inspect items for stains, damage, and quality concerns, and report issues as needed.
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, following all cleaning and maintenance guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and sanitary laundry work area.
- Track inventory levels of laundry supplies and communicate restocking needs.
- Deliver clean laundry to appropriate departments in a timely manner.
- Assist with sorting and handling guest laundry when applicable.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and hotel policies and procedures.
- Provide courteous and professional service while supporting the needs of the hotel team.
- Previous experience in laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, or a similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail.
- Comfortable standing, lifting, bending, and moving laundry carts or supplies as needed.
- Basic understanding of laundry equipment and cleaning processes is helpful.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
