Human Resources Assistant - Full Time
Join our team at Wasatch Behavioral Health as a Full-Time Human Resources Assistant at our Westpark office in Provo, Utah! As a Human Resources Assistant, you'll provide essential administrative support across a variety of HR functions, including onboarding, personnel records, employee communications, and HR operations.

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Compensation: $20.35–$25.78 DOE and Education

What You'll Do as a Human Resources Assistant
- Provide administrative support for daily Human Resources operations.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation materials, and pre-employment processes.
- Prepare, maintain, and organize confidential personnel records and HR documentation.
- Assist employees with general HR questions and direct them to appropriate resources.
- Support employment verifications, personnel actions, and other employee-related transactions.
- Maintain HR databases and ensure employee information is accurate and up to date.
- Assist with employee recognition, wellness initiatives, training coordination, and special HR events.
- Process paperwork related to hiring, status changes, separations, and other employment actions.
- Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, Recruitment, and department managers to support employee needs.
- Ensure confidentiality while handling sensitive employee information and records.
- Contribute to a welcoming, organized, and service-oriented Human Resources team that supports approximately 750 employees across the agency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma plus one (1) year of college coursework or
- One (1) year of specialized training in office practices and procedures
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to type at least 40 WPM
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Spanish speakers may qualify for a wage increase
