We are seeking a world-class Outbound Sales Enablement Consultant who will architect the systems, playbooks, onboarding, and coaching frameworks that power a predictable outbound pipeline across the Outbound team. The role strengthens outbound skills, tightens conversion metrics, enables pipeline creation behaviors, and drives adoption of the systems and tools for high-performing outbound sellers. The role supports Bamboo

HR’s transition from inbound-led motions to a high-velocity outbound GTM engine for the Outbound Sales team.

Responsibilities
  • Outbound Skill Development & Certification
  • Build BDR + AE outbound skills curriculum
    , including: discovery-first outreach fundamentals
  • Support an outbound sales process with goals-based discovery, multithreading, mutual action plans, and negotiation
  • Develop persona-based messaging playbooks
  • Identify entry points and recognize patterns
  • Launch and manage Outbound Certification for BDRs and AEs to ensure consistent execution and measurable skill progression
  • Playbooks & Content Development
  • Create and refine: outbound playbooks (sequencing, messaging, objection handling)
  • Territory & account planning frameworks
  • ICP, persona, and trigger event guides
  • Systems and tool best practices and adoption
  • Conversation frameworks and talk tracks
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to align positioning and proof points with Bamboo

    HR’s value messaging
  • Build outbound onboarding path for new BDRs, SDR-to-AE transitions, and new AEs with live training, role plays, simulated calls, system setup, and outbound readiness
  • Partner with managers to drive weekly coaching, skill reinforcement, call breakdowns, and pipeline generation workshops
  • Support managers in building a consistent coaching cadence anchored in call quality, activity effectiveness, conversation outcomes, and conversion metrics
  • Systems, Tools, & Operational Excellence
  • Serve as the outbound SME for Salesforce (pipeline, activity hygiene, account planning, reporting)
  • Outreach (sequencing, testing, optimization)
  • Linked In Sales Navigator (social selling workflows)
  • Attention / Conversation Intelligence tools (quality analysis, insights)
  • Qualified Chat
  • Collaborate with Operations to define outbound effectiveness metrics
  • Metrics & Performance Management
  • Operationalize a metrics-driven outbound program with a focus on: pipeline creation, opportunity creation, and conversion
  • Track outbound opportunities per rep, SAOs/TQLs per rep, and conversion rates across funnel stages
  • Monitor activity quality, sequence effectiveness, and ICP fit scoring
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Align outbound messaging with launches and industry trends with SE Director and Product Marketing
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership on targeting strategy, weekly outbound expectations, call coaching, manager playbooks
  • Coordinate with Ops on lead routing and outbound process improvements
What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)
  • Increased outbound opportunities with clear attribution and repeatability
  • Rising outbound conversion rates across funnel stages
  • Managers operate a consistent outbound coaching system aligned to skill scorecards
  • Scalable outbound playbook serving as the operating manual for pipeline creation
  • New sellers complete a formal outbound onboarding path with standardized certification
  • Outbound tool adoption (Salesloft/Zoom Info/SFDC/Linked In) reaches >90% compliance
  • Outbound enablement is cited as a key accelerator to quota attainment by sellers and managers
Qualifications & Experience
  • 3-5+ years in outbound BDR/SDR roles, outbound-focused AE roles, or Sales Enablement with outbound emphasis
  • Proven success building or scaling outbound motions at a SaaS company
  • Strong experience with Salesforce, Outreach/Salesloft, Zoom Info, and Linked In Navigator
  • Ability to design and deliver training, run workshops, and coach managers
