- Hourly Pay Rate: $14.75 (starting) with $.25/hr raise after initial training
This part‑time job is a great introduction to the technical field. Duties include computer desktop support, system monitoring, and a wide variety of technical support and troubleshooting tasks.
Job training will be provided, so no previous technical experience is required.
Applicants must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week. Shift schedules are flexible to work around class schedules, but applicants must be available to work shifts beginning at 7:30 AM M‑F.
Work‑Study eligible preferred.
Required Qualifications- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Past customer service experience.
- Excellent computer troubleshooting skills.
- Operates, activates, uses, prepares, inspects, places, detects, or positions items.
- Expresses or exchanges ideas accurately and quickly.
- Receives detailed information with or without assistance.
- Sedentary work. Occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds.
- Walking and standing only occasionally if ever.
- Color, depth perception, and field of vision required to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, using a computer terminal, and extensive reading.
- The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions; typical office or administrative work.
